Christmas commemorates the appearing of that Eternal Word in our midst. Christmas is the enfleshment of God. Divinity takes on humanity. Here is the great exchange Christmas ponders, that God became like us that we might become like God. The Twelve Days of Christmas is more than just a song. But Christmas is a season beginning on December 25 for 12 days until January 5th.
