The St. Stephen's parish family endeavors to make stewardship a year-round focus. The vestry and stewardship chair have taken steps that emphasize the importance of stewardship in our everyday Christian living.
The St. Stephen's stewardship message continues to include in its focus, the giving of time and talent, as well as treasure.
In order to encompass the concept of stewardship, as an integral living part or our lives, our pledge cards include separate commitments for pledges of time and talent, as well as treasure.
Accompanying the financial pledge card, is an outline of "ministry opportunities" here at St. Stephen's. This allows youth as well as adults to make an offering of their personal gifts and talents, aside from their financial pledge.
It's through incorporating the “giving of self" that members are able to personally express their intentions for becoming more immersed in the life of the parish, while honoring Him, from whom all blessings flow.
